Position Overview

Randstad is seeking a highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented Project Analyst to support a critical digital integration initiative within our Radiation Oncology Department.

Reporting directly to the Director of Radiation Oncology, this individual will own the comprehensive assessment, inventory management, and operational documentation of the department's IT applications and software portfolios. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally alongside clinical, technical, and administrative teams to map out contract lifecycles for hundreds of active applications across multiple sites. This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative role requiring strong data management skills and the ability to synthesize complex asset information into executive-level reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Contract & Asset Assessment

  • Inventory Management: Audit, catalog, and organize hundreds of existing IT and software contracts across multiple departmental sites.
  • Database Tracking: Populate and maintain a centralized departmental tracking database capturing key data points, including:
  • Contract expiration dates and upcoming renewal timelines
  • Licensing structures and tier levels
  • Support/maintenance agreements
  • Financial metrics, pricing schedules, and vendor contacts
  • Optimization & Risk Analysis: Identify potential opportunities for application consolidation, vendor rationalization, and cost optimization by pinpointing redundant platforms or software overlap.
  • Risk Mitigation: Assist departmental leadership in identifying operational and financial risks associated with contract expirations or unsupported legacy systems.

2. Application Portfolio & Digital Integration

  • Dependency Mapping: Support the mapping of the current-state application environment, user volume, and site dependencies.
  • Lifecycle Documentation: Thoroughly document application ownership, functional cross-over, business criticality, and strategic alignment.
  • CMDB Optimization (Stretch Goal): If time permits, collaborate with technical teams to ensure all newly cataloged application Configuration Items (CIs) are properly set up and accurately mapped within the organizational Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

3. Stakeholder Coordination & Executive Reporting

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the central point of contact to gather application metrics, utilization details, and contractual information from various clinical and administrative stakeholders.
  • Executive Deliverables: Support leadership by translating massive datasets into actionable summaries, visual dashboards, presentations, and current-state operational documentation.
  • Project Governance: Maintain impeccable project documentation and tracking artifacts throughout the 4-month lifecycle.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of progressive experience in project coordination, business analysis, IT operations, software asset management (SAM), contract management, or a related analytical field.
  • Data Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, data cleaning) and PowerPoint is mandatory. Proven experience managing and organizing large, disparate datasets is required.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to interface professionally with departmental leadership.
  • Execution: Strong organizational discipline, an unwavering eye for detail, and the ability to manage strict deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Desired Skills & Attributes:

  • Process-Driven Mindset: A naturally curious, analytical thinker who excels at finding order within fragmented data.
  • Comfort with Ambiguity: Ability to work independently, ask the right questions, and pivot smoothly as project scope evolves.
  • Technical Familiarity: Prior exposure to ITIL frameworks, IT Asset Management (ITAM), or CMDB tracking/mapping is a major plus.
