Job Title: Program Manager
Location: Grass Lake, MI
Type of Role: Direct Hire
Shift: 7am-5:30pm Monday through Friday, with some Saturday’s as needed
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Program Manager to oversee and coordinate projects from initiation through completion. This role is responsible for managing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional communication while serving as the primary point of contact for customers. The ideal candidate has strong program management experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can effectively manage multiple projects while ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Serve as the primary customer point of contact, managing communication and project requirements
• Review contracts and collaborate with estimating on newly awarded purchase orders
• Analyze customer information and lead job kickoff meetings with internal teams
• Develop and manage project timelines, routers, and workflows across departments
• Ensure work orders contain accurate scope, engineering levels, and material requirements
• Coordinate with purchasing to source materials and manage outsourced operations within budget
• Track job progress, maintain completion schedules and open PO lists, and ensure deadlines are met
• Support invoicing processes and ensure alignment with contract terms and deliverables
• Attend project-related meetings including WIP, scheduling, shipping, and customer reviews
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within manufacturing processes
• Provide direction to internal teams and ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 5+ years of program management experience or relevant degree with training potential
• Ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams simultaneously
• Experience reading and interpreting customer prints and GD&T
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business systems
• Excellent communication skills with ability to interface with clients and internal teams
• Authorization to work in the United States
