Location - Brooklyn, NY 11203


Duration -10 weeks (This is initially a contract; however, the client might extend the contract or hire permanently based on performance and attendance.)


Shift- 8:00 AM-4:30 PM


Pay - $80/hr - $85/hr on W2


PURPOSE OF POSITION SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: .

Program Development and Coordination:

• Program development, evaluation, and implementation of the National Accreditation Program of Breast Centers (NAPBC) at Clients Hospital. o Facilitate adherence to NAPBC Standards o Ensures fulfillment of NAPBC Requirements

• Take lead in the development of required documents for initial accreditation (e.g. protocols, policies, etc.)

• Assist with value-based care initiatives by leading process improvement initiatives

• Works closely with the physician chair of NAPBC to ensure compliance with and documentation of all accreditation requirements

• Attends quarterly Cancer Committee meetings (CoC and NAPBC)

• Compile data and presents reports in quarterly meetings as needed

• Is present for all accreditation site visits and assists with the overall planning and execution

• Coordinate and facilitate a schedule of various types of meetings (i.e. clinical service line meetings, staff meetings, planning meetings, program development meetings, etc.); arrange scheduling details, send out reminder notices, follow-up to confirm participants’ attendance; ensure ready availability of relevant information and materials needed for discussion and/or distribution at meetings; process and coordinate meal requests/arrangements; maintain meeting records in an organized and efficient manner. Documents and distributes Committee meeting minutes.


Educational Level:

• Bachelors degree required

• Master’s degree preferred


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and other Requirements:

• Prior experience in NPBC/CoC or any oncology standards and accreditation components

• Ability to prepare for surveys and manage corrective action plans

• Documentation management and organization

• Ability to interpret performance metrics and quality indicators

• Analytical thinking and data interpretation

• Development and implementation of policy and procedure documents

• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary team members through accreditation steps

• Strong cross-functional communication

• Strategic planning

• Program Development Understanding of breast care pathways Years of Experience: • 2 years


Note- We need candidates with prior experience with the above and it has to be over 2 years with this. Current designation should be Program Manager and experience with program management (not project but program, much senior) has to be over 2 years. Bachelors is needed and masters is preferred.

Candidate will be reporting to the Director with Breast Surgery, hence core hospital and acute care setting background is required being involved with breast surgery centers.
