This is a 12-month contract that is hybrid, working onsite in downtown Atlanta 2 days per week.


The Program Manager will oversee day-to-day program coordination, delivery execution, and stakeholder alignment for a high-visibility modernization program. This role will partner closely with executive leadership, technology teams, implementation vendors, and business stakeholders to drive program milestones, ensure implementation readiness, and support a successful platform launch and transition to operations.


This position requires a strategic leader with experience managing complex IT modernization programs, coordinating cross-functional teams, mitigating risks, and ensuring alignment between technical delivery and operational goals.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Public Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience managing large-scale IT modernization, digital transformation, or enterprise system implementation programs.
  • Proven experience leading complex government or highly regulated technology initiatives.
  • Experience managing multi-vendor environments and cross-functional stakeholder groups.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, hybrid, or iterative software delivery methodologies.
  • Experience coordinating system development, testing, data migration, implementation readiness, and go-live activities.
  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting unemployment insurance, workforce systems, benefits administration, or public sector modernization programs.
  • Familiarity with federal compliance and implementation readiness processes.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms or enterprise-scale digital transformation programs.
  • Project or program management certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or PgMP.
