This is a 12-month contract that is hybrid, working onsite in downtown Atlanta 2 days per week.

The Program Manager will oversee day-to-day program coordination, delivery execution, and stakeholder alignment for a high-visibility modernization program. This role will partner closely with executive leadership, technology teams, implementation vendors, and business stakeholders to drive program milestones, ensure implementation readiness, and support a successful platform launch and transition to operations.

This position requires a strategic leader with experience managing complex IT modernization programs, coordinating cross-functional teams, mitigating risks, and ensuring alignment between technical delivery and operational goals.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Public Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
10+ years of experience managing large-scale IT modernization, digital transformation, or enterprise system implementation programs.
Proven experience leading complex government or highly regulated technology initiatives.
Experience managing multi-vendor environments and cross-functional stakeholder groups.
Strong knowledge of Agile, hybrid, or iterative software delivery methodologies.
Experience coordinating system development, testing, data migration, implementation readiness, and go-live activities.
Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting unemployment insurance, workforce systems, benefits administration, or public sector modernization programs.
Familiarity with federal compliance and implementation readiness processes.
Experience with cloud-based platforms or enterprise-scale digital transformation programs.
Project or program management certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or PgMP.
