Role Overview:
The State Information Center Team Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring the public receives accurate, timely, and customer‑focused assistance when engaging with state government. This position supports the daily operations of the State Information Center by leading front‑line communication efforts, maintaining the accuracy of the program database, and ensuring smooth, consistent workflow across all service channels—including phone, chat, and ticket requests.
The Team Lead acts as the primary support to the Program Director and assumes leadership responsibilities during their absence. This includes helping guide staff, ensuring service standards are met, resolving escalated inquiries, and coordinating information flow between team members. The role also contributes to improving communication lines between the public and state agencies by ensuring information provided is correct, up‑to‑date, and easy to understand.
Ideal candidates will bring:

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to support and guide team members

Salary Statement:
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $39,000.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
