A well‑established litigation law firm in Tampa is seeking an experienced Products Liability Defense Paralegal to join its busy litigation team. This is a fully onsite role ideal for a litigation paralegal who thrives in a fast‑paced defense environment and has hands‑on trial experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support attorneys with all phases of products liability defense litigation
• Assist with case management, pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation
• Coordinate and manage scheduling for hearings, depositions, deadlines, and trial calendars
• Maintain and track billable hours accurately
• Prepare, organize, and manage case files in state and federal courts
• Deliver high‑quality work product while providing excellent internal and external client support

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of substantive products liability defense experience required
• Prior trial experience is strongly preferred
• Solid working knowledge of Florida state and federal court rules
• Experience with litigation scheduling and deadline management
• Familiarity with billing and timekeeping systems
• Experience with common litigation software such as Relativity and Xera preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, professional, and client focused
