This position is for a versatile candidate who will be responsible for the early-stage production assembly, testing, and debugging of a complex electro-mechanical system.
Prior Experience:
- Hands on experience in assembly of electro-mechanical systems / machinery from engineering assembly drawings and manufacturing instructions Testing, debugging, and loading of firmware on PCBAs with an ability to read schematics
- Candidate will work from written and verbal instructions / drawings and must be capable of filling out production travelers and similar types of documentation (batch records, equipment logs, and quality control documentation.)
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers and quality control personnel, to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, resolve production issues, and implement process improvements.
- Lean initiatives to eliminate waste and improve on-time performance
Must Have:
- High School Diploma or GED. Associates degree preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in a low volume production environment
We Value:
- Experience with surface mount technology, including hand soldering, J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 certification preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve production issues
- Knowledge of Linux operating system is a plus
