  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and hold production teams accountable
  • Experience enforcing plant policies, safety rules, attendance standards, and performance expectations

  • Working knowledge of production scheduling, downtime tracking, and efficiency metrics
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, extended hours, and Saturdays as needed

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a JIT (Just-In-Time) automotive sequencing environment
  • Prior experience supporting Stellantis or similar OEM automotive operations
  • Union environment experience
  • Background in standardizing work processes and driving continuous improvement
  • Experience reviewing production and operating reports to identify root causes and trends

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct daily activities of production team members to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met
  • Ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements, plant rules, safety regulations, and company policies
  • Monitor production operations to identify bottlenecks, resolve downtime issues, and improve overall flow
  • Plan and prioritize production activities by reviewing production orders, specifications, and schedules
  • Track performance metrics and review production and operating reports to minimize costs and prevent delays
  • Inspect equipment and processes to ensure proper operation and optimal utilization
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce standard operating procedures and work practices
  • Coach, counsel, and train employees to build a fully qualified, quality-focused workforce
  • Promote and adhere to all Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) policies and procedures

Physical and Environmental Requirements

Physical expectations and working conditions associated with the job may include standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods; lifting up to 25–50 lbs depending on role requirements; and working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to production equipment, noise, and varying temperatures.
