Production Supervisor

The idea candidate will oversee safe and proper manufacturing of the company's products on NIGHT SHIFT. In order to do this, the candidate will troubleshoot issues, ensure the efficient day to day operations of the company, and coordinating a team of production employees to make sure that consistent and quality goods are constantly being produced.


Supervisors who have engineering background are strongly preferred! Any kind of automotive or chemical manufacturing background is also desirable.


Responsibilities


- Directly supervise assigned production team members (25-30 people).

- Coordinate with Maintenance to address equipment needs and maintain optimal performance.

- Partner with Quality to ensure consistent production of high-quality gloves.

- Communicate with Engineering regarding defect trends or issues identified by packing teams.

- Work with Warehouse personnel to ensure packaging materials are staged according to the 24-hour production plan and weekend requirements.

- Participate in continuous improvement efforts with Maintenance, EH&S, and Engineering.

- Conduct daily safety walks and participate in safety committee meetings.

- Hold team members accountable to performance and behavioral expectations.

- Manage and enforce ergonomic rotation of team members.

- Report daily production performance to leadership.


Qualifications


- Experience working in a 24/7 operating environment.

- Background in a chemical or manufacturing facility.

- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities

- Demonstrated experience identifying process inefficiencies and implementing improvements

- Strong problem-solving skills with experience using root cause analysis methods (e.g., 5 Whys, fishbone)

- Ability to analyze production data and use metrics to drive decision-making and improve performance

- Experience working cross-functionally with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams

- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand manufacturing processes and equipment

- Experience in continuous improvement environments (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) preferred

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
