Production Supervisor

Job Summary
The Night Shift Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing print and mail operations in a fast-paced environment. This role ensures jobs are completed on time, meet quality standards, and stay compliant with client and regulatory requirements. You'll lead a production team, manage workflow, and keep operations running efficiently throughout the shift.

Shift
Monday–Thursday, 6:00 PM – 4:30 AM (overtime and occasional weekends as needed)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of 15–30 production and fulfillment employees
  • Set daily priorities to ensure all jobs are completed accurately and on schedule
  • Keep production lines running efficiently by assigning work and minimizing downtime
  • Coordinate with other departments to keep workflow moving smoothly
  • Monitor staffing levels and adjust labor (including temp staff) based on volume
  • Ensure all finished work meets client expectations and quality standards
  • Promote a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Cross-train team members to improve flexibility and efficiency
  • Plan shift coverage based on workload and deadlines
  • Communicate updates and priorities to the next shift
  • Track production activity and pull reports as needed
  • Use systems and spreadsheets to manage and track work

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2–3 years of leadership experience in a production or manufacturing setting
  • Experience in print or mailing operations is a plus
  • Comfortable using Excel and production systems
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends when needed
  • Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs

Compensation & Benefits

  • $76,000 – $78,000 salary
  • Bonus eligible
  • Unlimited PTO
