We are partnering with a growing Colorado Springs-based manufacturing and fulfillment operation seeking an experienced Production Operations Manager to oversee warehouse operations, production workflows, inventory management, fulfillment, shipping, and process improvement initiatives.

Position Overview

The Production Operations Manager will oversee daily warehouse and production activities, inventory accuracy, fulfillment operations, shipping/logistics coordination, and operational process improvements. This position is responsible for maintaining efficient workflows, supporting KPI tracking, managing staff productivity, and helping scale operations effectively.

This individual will lead a small operations team and support temporary staffing coordination during seasonal or peak production periods.


Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Production Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse, inventory, fulfillment, and production activities
  • Coordinate inbound/outbound shipping and logistics operations
  • Maintain organized and efficient warehouse workflows and layouts
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and proper inventory movement tracking
  • Support fulfillment timelines and shipping accuracy

Team Leadership

  • Lead, train, and support warehouse and production staff
  • Conduct daily team coordination meetings and workflow planning
  • Assist with staffing coordination, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment

Operational Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow, productivity, and operational efficiency
  • Help implement Lean/continuous improvement initiatives and process standardization
  • Develop and maintain SOPs and operational documentation
  • Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to support business decisions

Quality & Compliance

  • Support quality control processes and operational consistency
  • Ensure safe warehouse operations and OSHA compliance
  • Assist with equipment oversight and facility organization


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of warehouse, production, fulfillment, or operations management experience required
  • Experience leading teams in warehouse or manufacturing environments
  • Strong inventory management and logistics coordination experience
  • Experience with ERP, warehouse management, or fulfillment systems preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Experience with Lean, Kaizen, 5S, or continuous improvement initiatives preferred
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite and operational software systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
