Production Manager
Location: Liberty, SC
Salary: Up to $140,000 + Bonus
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (occasional Saturdays)
We are recruiting for an experienced Production Manager to join a highly regarded, international leader within its sector, operating in a high-volume, highly regulated manufacturing environment producing small, precision components.
This is a key leadership role within a business known for its engineering excellence, quality standards, and continuous improvement culture.
The Role
You will take full ownership of production operations, with a strong emphasis on driving quality, improving processes, and embedding continuous improvement across the shop floor.
Working in a technically advanced environment, you’ll lead initiatives that enhance process stability, right-first-time performance, and operational efficiency, while developing high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Champion a right-first-time culture, improving quality, consistency, and process control
- Drive reduction in scrap, rework, and defects through root cause analysis
- Lead Lean / Six Sigma initiatives to improve efficiency, throughput, and cost
- Embed standard work, visual management, and KPI-driven performance
Operational & Financial Performance
- Deliver production targets while maintaining quality and cost control
- Manage key P&L drivers, including labour efficiency, scrap, and operational spend
- Use data and metrics to drive performance and decision-making
Leadership & Culture
- Lead, coach, and develop teams to deliver high performance
- Build a culture focused on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor, engaging and supporting teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to deliver sustainable improvements
- Support new product introductions with a focus on manufacturability and quality
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience in a Production Manager or Manufacturing Leadership role
- Strong background in high-volume, regulated manufacturing environments
- Demonstrated success in continuous improvement and quality-driven initiatives
- Experience managing P&L and operational performance
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confident leader able to drive change and influence teams at all levels
