Lead Solid Surface Fabricator / Production Manager (Corian Countertops)

This is a hands-on shop leadership role responsible for solid surface fabrication, production scheduling, quality control, and supervising shop employees in a countertop manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
• Fabricate solid surface countertops (Corian and similar materials)
• Perform seam work, sanding, finishing, and edge detailing
• Read shop drawings, blueprints, and fabrication layouts
• Operate shop equipment including routers, sanders, and fabrication tools
• Manage daily shop production schedule and workflow
• Supervise and assist countertop fabricators and shop employees
• Maintain quality control for seams, edges, and final finishing
• Track materials, supplies, and solid surface inventory
• Coordinate with countertop installers and office staff
• Maintain a safe, organized fabrication shop
Must-Have Qualifications
• 3–5+ years solid surface fabrication experience
• Experience working with Corian or similar solid surface materials
• Strong knowledge of countertop fabrication techniques
• Experience with routers, sanding tools, seam kits, and shop equipment
• Ability to read shop drawings, blueprints, and countertop layouts
• Experience with seam finishing, polishing, and edge profiles
• Strong organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Reliable commute to our shop in Vero Beach, FL
Nice to Have
• Experience leading a countertop fabrication team or shop crew
• Background in stone, quartz, laminate, or solid surface countertops
• Experience managing production schedules or shop workflow
• Knowledge of materials management or inventory control
• Experience working with cabinetry, millwork, or construction trades
Pay, Schedule & Location
• $25 – $35 per hour (based on experience)
• Full-time position
• Onsite shop role – not remote
