Job Description

This company is seeking an early-career Expediter to support day-to-day manufacturing and supply chain operations. This role will partner

closely with the Planner and internal teams to ensure material flow, follow-up on open items, and execution of production priorities in a fast-paced, hands-on

environment.

The ideal candidate is a confident self-starter with strong energy, able to take ownership of tasks without micromanagement. Early-career

candidates or recent grads are welcome, especially those with exposure to ERP/MRP systems and solid Excel skills. This is a 100 percent onsite role with

hours of 7:00 AM–3:30 PM and offers long-term growth potential within Kochek as the supply chain organization continues to mature.

High-level requirements:

• Strong computer and Excel skills
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to “run with things”
• Comfortable in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials and jobs move according to the production schedule.
• Act as a real-time link between ERP data and the shop floor.
• Serve as a backup for the Planner to maintain operations continuity.
• Communicate effectively internally and coordinate with outside processing vendors.
• Support planning or scheduling functions as needed.

Essential Skills

• Ability to work independently.
• ERP or MRP exposure with the ability to learn M1.
• Strong internal communication skills.
• Experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Early-career candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Recent graduates with ERP exposure are acceptable.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.

Work Environment

This position is fully on-site in Putnam, CT operating within a manufacturing setting with a schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The role involves regular interaction with external vendors and supports procedural build-out and team restructuring. Employees are trusted contributors in a hands-on organization, actively shaping operations as the company prepares for growth.

This is a Permanent position based out of Putnam, CT.

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $50000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Putnam,CT.
