Production Associate

Job Description

As a Production Associate, you will play a vital role in packaging and preparing hay and hay-based products for shipment. You will ensure products meet quality standards and help maintain a safe, efficient, and positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Package hay-based products to meet quality and weight specifications.
  • Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all safety and food safety protocols.
  • Maintain production rates and assist with line changes as needed.
  • Communicate equipment issues to supervisors promptly.

Available Shifts

  • 6 AM to 4 PM M-Th
  • 4 PM to 2 AM M-Th
  • 8 AM to 4:30 PM M-F

Essential Skills

  • General Production Worker - 3+ Years
  • Machine Operating - 2+ Years
  • Mechanical aptitude

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous production or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 65 lbs (100 lbs for bulk), including overhead lifting.
  • Comfortable standing for long periods and working in dusty environments.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions in English.
  • Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.34 - $19.34/hr.
