Overview
An opportunity is available for a detail-oriented Production Analyst to join a busy manufacturing site. This role plays a key part in supporting operational performance through planning, analysis, and data management. You’ll contribute directly to efficient plant operations while helping drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage production schedules across short-, medium-, and long-term timeframes.
- Monitor and control inventory levels for raw materials, fuels, and finished products.
- Analyse production output, material usage, and stock levels to ensure alignment with financial targets.
- Maintain and update system data (including ERP systems) to support accurate reporting and planning.
- Oversee production order processes, including creation, confirmation, issue resolution, and closure.
- Track and reconcile inventory figures regularly, ensuring consistency between physical stock and system records.
- Validate production and consumption ratios across all stages of the manufacturing process.
- Support budgeting activities by providing accurate operational data and forecasts.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical and performance reports, including annual documentation.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to coordinate production and equipment planning.
- Ensure accurate recording of downtime events and production factors.
- Promote and uphold high standards in health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Take on additional responsibilities as required to support plant operations.
Candidate Profile
- Secondary education or equivalent required; a degree in engineering or a related discipline is advantageous.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments, ideally within cement production or a similar heavy industry.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting operational data and metrics.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP) and advanced use of spreadsheets (e.g., Excel).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a team setting.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as part of the role.
