Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst / Product Owner to support and enhance our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) ecosystem. This role serves as the bridge between business strategy, customer experience, data analytics, and technology. The ideal candidate will leverage consumer data insights to drive product enhancements, optimize customer journeys, and improve business outcomes across digital commerce platforms.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Product Owner for DTC platforms, managing product backlog, prioritization, and delivery.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, eCommerce, Analytics, Data, and Engineering teams to define product strategy and roadmap.
  • Utilize consumer data and analytics to identify growth opportunities and improve customer experiences.
  • Drive integrations and optimization across Customer Data Platforms (CDP), CRM, eCommerce, and analytics ecosystems.
  • Analyze customer behavior, segmentation, and lifecycle performance to recommend actionable improvements.
  • Partner with development teams and third-party vendors to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.
  • Monitor KPIs, dashboards, experimentation results, and A/B testing outcomes to guide product decisions.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across systems and platforms.
  • Act as a liaison between technical and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment throughout the product lifecycle.


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Product Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong experience within Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), eCommerce, Digital Commerce, or Retail environments.
  • Deep understanding of consumer data, customer segmentation, customer lifecycle, and marketing analytics.
  • Experience working with Customer Data Platforms (CDP), CRM systems, and marketing automation tools.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements and data insights into product enhancements.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with SQL, data analysis, or querying tools is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Retail, Consumer Products, Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or Omnichannel Commerce.
  • Hands-on experience with personalization, experimentation frameworks, and customer journey optimization.
  • Familiarity with customer identity resolution and data modeling concepts.
  • Experience supporting digital growth, conversion optimization, and customer engagement initiatives.

  • Customer Data Platform (CDP): BlueConic
  • CRM / Marketing Automation: Klaviyo
  • eCommerce Platforms: Shopify, PredictSpring, BentoBox
  • Data Warehouse & Integration: Google BigQuery
