Product Manager – Hardware Portfolio
We are searching for a Product Manager, responsible for shaping and managing the full lifecycle strategy, performance, and profitability of new hardware product lines within the commercial plumbing and HVAC space. This position emphasizes physical product development, engineering coordination, and market-driven hardware innovation for plumbing fixtures and related equipment.

Primary Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end management of assigned hardware product portfolios, including value proposition, product roadmaps, technical specifications, and full lifecycle.
- Drive the performance of product lines with a focus on revenue growth, profitability, margin targets, and efficient cash-flow generation.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis, trend monitoring, and competitive intelligence specifically for physical plumbing and HVAC hardware. Maintain and update competitive databases.
- Lead SKU rationalization, product line optimization, and end-of-life decisions for hardware items.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, R&D, and manufacturing teams to coordinate technical product development, design validation, prototyping, testing, and cost management for physical products like faucets, lavatories, emergency equipment, and accessories.
- Execute New Product Development (NPD) launches for hardware solutions including cross-functional coordination, budgeting, validation testing, manufacturing scale-up, marketing support, and sales enablement.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies, positioning, and go-to-market plans tailored to physical hardware products in commercial and industrial settings.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to refine hardware-focused market strategies and customer value delivery.
- Participate in SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) processes, aligning demand forecasts with manufacturing and operations capabilities.
- Create technical training materials and deliver training sessions on product features, installation, performance, and benefits for customers and internal sales teams (some travel required).
- Support team development and contribute to additional strategic projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, or a related technical field (MBA preferred).
- 3+ years of Product Management experience focused on hardware / physical products in manufacturing, industrial, or technical markets
- Strong background in physical product development, engineering collaboration, and lifecycle management of tangible goods that are mechanical or electrical in nature.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional and virtual teams in a matrixed environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including clear technical documentation and presentations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, proactive, and self-starting mindset.
- Willingness to travel as needed for customer support, training, and market activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
