Product Manager

The Intersect Group
Irving, TX

Role Summary

We are seeking a technically strong Product Manager to lead the development and evolution of a rules‑based decisioning platform that drives measurable economic outcomes. This role will play a critical part in enabling configurable, data‑driven logic used to evaluate offers, pricing, eligibility, or workflows at scale.

In this role, you will own product strategy and execution across interconnected backend systems, partner closely with engineering and analytics teams, and ensure that decision logic is flexible, testable, and continuously optimized through experimentation such as A/B testing. Your work will directly influence cost efficiency, revenue capture, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap for rules‑based decisioning capabilities, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and measurable value outcomes
  • Define and manage configurable business rules used to evaluate pricing, promotions, offers, eligibility, or operational decisions at scale
  • Partner closely with engineering teams to translate business logic into scalable backend system requirements
  • Enable experimentation frameworks (e.g., A/B testing, offer testing) to evaluate economic impact and optimize decision outcomes
  • Prioritize backlog items by balancing business value, technical dependencies, and platform scalability
  • Collaborate with analytics and stakeholders to define KPIs, track performance, and iterate based on data‑driven insights
  • Lead cross‑functional discussions across product, IT, and operations to ensure alignment and delivery across interdependent systems

Key Requirements

  • 4+ years of product management experience, with ownership of complex digital or backend product capabilities
  • Hands‑on experience building or managing rules engines, decisioning systems, or configurable logic platforms that drive economic value
  • Strong technical fluency with backend systems; able to effectively “speak the language” of engineering and IT partners
  • Experience supporting experimentation, offer optimization, pricing, promotions, fraud, underwriting, or eligibility workflows
  • Proven ability to define success metrics, measure ROI, and make prioritization decisions based on data
  • Experience working within Agile or modern SDLC environments across multiple dependent teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with comfort operating in fast‑paced, evolving environments
