$200-$350k base salary

San Francisco, Onsite

About

Our client is building the infrastructure layer for self-learning AI agents—helping companies detect when their agents fail in production and automatically improve them over time. As AI systems scale, reliability and continuous learning are becoming mission-critical, and our client is at the center of solving this.

They’re a ~20 person, Series A-stage team backed by top-tier investors, operating with high intensity, strong product taste, and a deep focus on building something that actually works in the real world.

The Role

Our client is hiring Product Engineers to build and shape the core product. This is a highly hands-on, high-ownership role where you’ll work across the stack, collaborate closely with design, and ship directly to customers.

What you’ll do:

  • Build full-stack product features (frontend + backend) using TypeScript
  • Design and iterate on high-quality, thoughtful user experiences
  • Work directly with customers to understand problems and ship solutions
  • Participate in product design reviews and influence product direction
  • Move quickly from idea → prototype → production

What They’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of software engineering experience
  • Strong experience with TypeScript (frontend or full-stack)
  • Frontend-leaning or strong product/UI instincts
  • High agency—you take ownership and move without being told
  • Strong product taste and attention to detail

Nice to have:

  • Experience at product-focused or high-taste companies (e.g. Notion, Linear)
  • Experience working with AI/LLMs or agent-based systems
  • Comfort working directly with customers

Why Join

  • Work on a foundational problem in AI (agent reliability + continuous learning)
  • Extremely high ownership and autonomy—engineers drive what gets built
  • Tight-knit, high-caliber team with strong builder culture
  • Direct exposure to customers and real-world product impact
  • Competitive compensation: $200K–$350K + meaningful equity
