Russell Tobin & Associates is currently seeking a Product Development Coordinator to work for one of our well-recognized fashion client's. Prior experience working in the fashion industry with intern and/or professional experience.

Contract: 3 months with extension
Location: Manhattan, NY
Schedule: Hybrid - Min. 2 -3 days in office per week
Pay Rate: $30 - 33.30 per hour on W2
The Product Developement Coordinator is an individual contributor responsible for coordinating the development of products. Monitors development process for product line. Acts as point person on development details with vendor partners and cross-functional teams. Creates and updates seasonal development charts, WIPs, readiness decks, etc. Coordinates workflow of weekly updates to ensure timely communication with vendors, production, technical, and merchandising. Tracks development to assure execution is within timeframes. Communicates design development details. Will report to Product Developer and will not have direct reports. Bachelor's degree in Product Development, Production, Operations, Apparel Product.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree in product development or related area or equivalent experience
· 1+ – 3 years of related experience - interns will count as experience
· Demonstrate strong, consistent problem-solving abilities and result-driven communication with business partners
· Experience with and/or basic fabric knowledge is plus
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
· Knowledge of the product lifecycle, especially in a retail setting
· Must be organized; Have strong collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills
· Basic knowledge of PLM (Centric is a plus!)
· Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
· Ability to be a team player and foster a commitment to teamwork with other associates
· Ability to prioritize and multi-task
· Basic knowledge of garment construction
