Early-stage startup building enterprise AI platforms for workforce intelligence and decision-making is hiring a Product Designer to shape how leaders understand and act on complex data.
This is a high-ownership role where you’ll define product experiences, design systems, and ship UI directly working closely with engineering and leadership in a fast-moving environment.
Job Responsibilities:
• Design and ship features across complex enterprise workflows (pipelines, dashboards, role-based navigation, calibration UIs)
• Own information architecture, feature flows, and data-heavy UI design end-to-end
• Contribute to and evolve the design system, brand voice, and visual standards
• Partner closely with engineering on larger builds and leadership on product direction
• Use AI coding tools to ship small UI updates directly to a React / shadcn frontend
• Operate in a fast cadence—sometimes shipping from concept to live in a day
Must Have Experience:
• 2+ years as a product designer with a portfolio of shipped (not concept-only) work
• At least one example of complex or data-heavy UI (dashboards, admin tools, multi-step flows, enterprise systems)
• Experience in B2B / enterprise SaaS or as a designer at an early-stage startup
• Demonstrated fluency with AI coding tools (e.g., ability to use Cursor or Claude Code to ship UI changes)
• Strong visual/UX judgment (typography, layout density, system thinking)
• Ability to iterate quickly on live product without over-polishing
Nice to have:
• Experience with shadcn, Radix, Tailwind
• Exposure to design systems (tokens, components, patterns)
• Experience with marketing, landing pages, or brand surfaces
• Public design work (portfolio site, writing, talks, OSS contributions)
