Procurement Specialist

Procurement Specialist - Hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote work every week. Onsite work is at Hercules, CA.

Max Pay - $48/hour - depending on experience. Minimum 5+ years of experience and versatile with working on SAP and Kinaxis and MS Office

Responsibilities:

1. Actively manages purchase order workflows in SAP to support business needs.
2. Works with appropriate parties to resolve invoice issues to minimize overdue invoices.
3. Identifies and resolves potential supplier problems.
4. Ensures goods are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
5. Introduce and manage efficiencies through effective purchasing.
6. Monitors cost and supplier performance.
7. Maintains files and records related to purchasing activities.

2. Mastering and Maintaining master data elements for efficient purchase execution.
3. Maintains on time and in full deliveries with suppliers.

What You Bring:

1. Education: BA or BS, APICS Certification Desired
2. Work Experience: 5+ years in procurement environment; able to lead teams.
3. SAP and Kinaxis experience Mandatory
4. Independent, Out of the Box Problem Solving
5. Negotiation, good oral and written communications, proficient with Power Point, Excel, and Word.
