Procurement Coordinator
Location: ADA, MI
Duration: 2 Months with Possible extension
Schedule:
Part-Time Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday for 8 hours each day. 24 hours per week
Description:
We are seeking a part-time Procurement Coordinator to support daily procurement operations for a specific commodity category. This role works closely with internal teams and external suppliers to facilitate supplier/material qualification activities, coordinate pricing updates, and support supplier communications related to price updates. This is a part-time, temporary position.
Key Responsibilities
•Support supplier and material qualification processes
•Coordinate supplier communication related to pricing updates and changes
•Collect and organize data to review and prioritize supplier price changes
•Negotiate supplier price updates below a certain threshold while following a playbook with specific strategic guidance
•Ensure accurate pricing updates in procurement systems
Qualifications
•1+ year of business experience (3 years preferred)
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent professional work experience)
Skills
•Strong communication and organizational skills
•Analytical and problem-solving ability
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office
•Experience with JDE or Tableau is a plus
