Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team at a leading plastic injection molding. In this role, you will play a key part in developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality production and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and optimize injection molding processes to meet production goals
- Troubleshoot process and equipment issues to minimize downtime and scrap
- Monitor and analyze production data to drive efficiency and quality improvements
- Support new tool startups, sample runs, and process validations
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure smooth workflow
- Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
- Assist with equipment selection, setup, and preventive maintenance planning
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) OR equivalent technical experience
- 3+ years of experience in plastic injection molding process engineering
- Strong understanding of mold setup, process optimization, and materials
- Knowledge of scientific molding principles is a plus
- Experience with RJG, Decoupled Molding, or similar methodologies preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
