Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead process design, development, and optimization projects to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in process engineering, providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting for production operations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and work instructions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and R&D to implement best practices and process improvements.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for complex process issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations.
  • Support capital projects by defining process requirements, evaluating equipment, and coordinating installation and validation activities.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide training to technical staff.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies.



Qualifications

  • :Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • .5–8 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing, or related field
  • .Strong knowledge of process design, optimization methodologies, and statistical process control (SPC)
  • .Proven experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement tools (certification preferred)
  • .Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
  • .Strong communication and leadership abilities with experience mentoring or leading teams
  • .Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools
