Private Client Service Attorney

Aionios LLC
Sarasota, FL

About the opportunity:

Join a high-caliber Private Client team that counsels high-net-worth individuals, families, fiduciaries, and charitable organizations on sophisticated wealth transfer, tax, and estate planning strategies. You will step into an established platform with complex work, direct client contact, and a clear path to long-term career growth.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and support sophisticated estate planning for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients, including wills, trusts, lifetime gifting strategies, and closely held business succession planning.
  • Advise on federal and state estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax issues, and design tax-efficient structures for wealth transfer.
  • Handle estate and trust administration matters from probate through final distributions, including coordination with corporate fiduciaries, trust companies, and financial institutions.
  • Work closely with charitable organizations and private foundations on gift planning, endowments, and philanthropic structures.
  • Draft, review, and refine complex estate planning instruments, trust agreements, and related tax documents with a high degree of precision and judgment.
  • Collaborate with partners and colleagues across practice areas (tax, corporate, real estate) to deliver integrated solutions for clients’ personal and business interests.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, with significant responsibility for client-facing meetings, strategy discussions, and ongoing relationship management.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5–7 years of focused experience in estate planning, estate and gift taxation, and estate and trust administration in a law firm or private client boutique setting.
  • LLM in Taxation or Estate Planning (required).
  • Board Certification in Wills, Trusts and Estates (strongly preferred or a genuine interest in pursuing it).
  • Membership in the Florida Bar in good standing.
  • Strong technical tax and trusts-and-estates knowledge, paired with excellent drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • A polished, client-service-oriented approach and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to sophisticated but non-legal audiences.

Why this role stands out:

  • Deep, sophisticated private client platform with a steady stream of complex work for high-net-worth clients across Florida and beyond.
  • Collaborative, low-ego culture where attorneys are recognized for their individual contributions and encouraged to develop their own client relationships.
  • Strong institutional reputation, modern resources, and support that let you focus on practicing at a high level rather than building infrastructure from scratch.
  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, with long-term career upside for attorneys who want to grow in the Florida market.

If you have the private client experience, academic credentials, and entrepreneurial mindset to match, we’d like to discuss this Sarasota-based Senior Associate opportunity with you in more detail.
