Press Brake Operator

Our client, a leading high-tech metal fabrication and machining services provider, is seeking a dedicated Press Brake Operator to join their team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $18 - $20

Shift: 2nd

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate punch presses to cut, shape, and form sheet metal according to detailed drawings and specifications.
• Utilize measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, and thickness gauges to verify work accuracy.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and tolerances to ensure precise manufacturing.
• Perform daily maintenance on machines and tooling to maintain optimal performance.
• Program CNC punch presses and adjust settings like ram pressure and die clearance for different metal thicknesses.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating punch presses or related manufacturing machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools accurately.
• Strong understanding of punch press operation and tooling applications.
• Safety-conscious with a focus on quality standards.
• Excellent decision-making skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
