Press Brake Operator

Our client, a leading high-tech metal fabrication and machining services provider, is seeking a dedicated Press Brake Operator to join their team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting production and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Hanover, PA

Pay Range: $19- $21

Shift: 1st

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate punch presses to cut, shape, and form sheet metal according to detailed drawings and specifications.
• Utilize measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, and thickness gauges to verify work accuracy and compliance with tolerances.
• Perform daily maintenance on machines and tooling to ensure optimal operation and safety.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and routers to determine proper tooling and machine settings.
• Adjust ram pressure and die clearance based on material thickness and measurement data to ensure quality output.

What's Needed?

• At least 1 year of experience operating punch presses or related manufacturing machinery.
• Proficiency with measurement tools and reading blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
• Experience with CNC punch press programming is a plus.
