Our client is looking for a Practice Manager to manage a Physician practice in the Spring Hill Area. The practice has one location and a team of 11. This person will be strategically involved in improving the patient experience and growing the practice.


Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient patient care.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance practice efficiency.


Financial Management

  • Assist and manage budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate billing, coding, and collections.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.


Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, and supervise administrative and support staff.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any personnel issues promptly.


Regulatory Compliance

  • Stay informed about healthcare regulations and ensure the practice's compliance.
  • Implement and monitor policies to adhere to industry standards and legal requirements.


Technology Integration

  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of healthcare technology systems.
  • Ensure the electronic health record (EHR) system is utilized effectively.


Patient Experience

  • Focus on enhancing the patient experience through efficient processes and excellent
  • customer service.
  • Address patient concerns and implement improvements based on feedback.


Marketing and Business Development

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new patients and retain existing
  • ones.
  • Explore opportunities for business growth and expansion.


Collaboration and Communication

  • Foster effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize
  • patient care.


Performance Metrics

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the practice's overall
  • performance.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies accordingly.


Emergency Preparedness

  • Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans for the practice.
  • Ensure staff is trained and ready to respond to emergencies.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field. Master's
  • degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in healthcare management or administration.
  • Knowledge of EMR/EHR applications (EClinical Works (ecw))
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance.
  • Proficiency in healthcare information systems and technology.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
