Platform / devOps Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure) - Brooklyn
We're working with a repeat client and looking for a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to join their growing engineering team focused on building, scaling, and securing cloud-native infrastructure across modern environments.
The role really sits at the crossroads of platform engineering, cloud architecture and site reliability, working to support production systems that require high availability and strong governance.
Whilst no two days will look the same, you can generally be expected to:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across multi-environment systems
- Own IaC practices using terraform / policy-as-code
- Support Kubernetes-based workloads and ensure cluster reliability, performance, and upgrade safety
- Improve CI/CD pipelines to increase deployment speed, reliability, and traceability
- Implement and enforce security controls, access governance, and compliance-driven infrastructure patterns
I'm looking for individuals with:
- Strong experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS /Azure / GCP)
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes (EKS / AKS / GKE or equivalent)
- Deep understanding of Terraform / IaC tools
- Strong background in CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
- Experience with Linux systems administration and production troubleshooting
- Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
Nice to have
- Experience with policy-as-code (Sentinel etc)
- Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid environments
