We are seeking an experienced Plant Operations Manager to oversee operations across two plant nurseries and one landscaping supply store in Southern California. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing multi-site operations, ensuring plant quality, and driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across multiple locations
- Ensure high-quality plant care, including growing, maintenance, and inventory management
- Manage landscaping supply inventory, merchandising, and stock control
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of 10–14 employees, including scheduling and performance management
- Support sales through customer service and product knowledge
- Maintain clean, organized, and efficient site operations
- Coordinate logistics, deliveries, and inter-location transfers
- Improve operational processes and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of management experience in nursery, horticulture, or landscaping supply operations
- Strong knowledge of plant care, growth cycles, irrigation, and seasonal inventory
- Experience managing multi-site operations preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and handle physical plant materials
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
