Plant Manager - Aerospace manufacturing

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Plant Manager with a strong background in CNC programming and setup. The ideal candidate will have started their career in the CNC field and grown into plant management, bringing both technical expertise and leadership skills. This role requires a hands-on leader who can oversee operations, drive efficiency, and ensure the plant meets production and quality goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage plant operations, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality standards are consistently met.
• Oversee CNC programming, setup, and machining processes, providing technical guidance to the team.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve workflow, reduce downtime, and maximize output.
• Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with senior management to align plant goals with overall business objectives.
• Monitor budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure operational efficiency.
• Drive client satisfaction through timely delivery and superior product quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CNC programming and setup, with a career progression into plant management.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Track record of improving plant performance and driving revenue growth.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary range: $85,000 – $125,000 annually (based on experience).
