We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney to join a growing mid-size boutique practice. This role involves representing injured individuals in personal injury claims and advocating aggressively to secure favorable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters from pre-litigation through trial
- Conduct client consultations and case evaluations
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Handle depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances
- Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and defense counsel
- Develop case strategy, including liability and damages analysis
- Work closely with medical providers, experts, and investigators
- Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case status
- Ensure all deadlines and compliance requirements are met
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in New York
- 1-3+ years of experience in plaintiff personal injury law
- Strong litigation and negotiation skills
- Experience handling depositions, mediations, and court appearances
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
