A Day in the Life of the Physical Therapist Assistant

In this role, you’ll provide one-on-one care to patients across a wide range of ages and conditions in a spacious, well-equipped outpatient facility. You’ll work closely with Physical Therapists to implement treatment plans that help patients regain mobility and function. With an average of 8 patients per day, you’ll have the time to focus on quality care while contributing to a growing, patient-centered practice.


Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver prescribed physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist
  • Provide hands-on, manual therapy techniques when appropriate
  • Monitor patient progress and report updates to supervising Physical Therapists
  • Educate patients on exercises and recovery plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Collaborate with clinical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Support a positive, team-oriented clinical environment
  • Office is open: 7am - 6pm (Flexible with shifts: 7-4pm, 8-5pm, 9-6pm, Monday-Friday)


Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) from an accredited program
  • Active PTA license
  • 1+ years of Physical Therapy Assistant experience
  • Experience or interest with manual therapy
  • Ability to work with a wide range of patient populations and conditions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
