Phlebotomist

Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist at Ocala, FL! This is a 3 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Role: Phlebotomist

Location: Ocala, FL 34481

Shift Schedule:

• Monday, Tuesday, Friday 5:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Saturday: 6:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36 hours

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Highlights: $19-21/hour (Based on years of experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing according to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Verify patient information and ensure specimen integrity.
• Follow all safety, compliance, and quality assurance procedures.
• Provide professional and compassionate patient care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Support daily operations while meeting productivity and quality standards.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:

• Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required.
• Experience with:
• Pediatric collections
• Geriatric collections
• Capillary collections

Note: Local candidates within 25-30 miles are eligible.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
