Job DescriptionPrideStaff Financial is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll and Accounts Receivable Specialist for our client, a prominent, real estate company based in Newark, N.J.

We are looking for a dedicated professional to join their finance team to ensure the accurate processing of payroll and the efficient management of accounts receivable.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Duties:

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a diverse workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
• Address payroll-related inquiries from employees in a professional and timely manner.
• Prepare payroll reports for management review.

Accounts Receivable Duties:

• Oversee the accounts receivable lifecycle, including invoicing, payment application, and reconciliation.
• Monitor tenant/client accounts and follow up on outstanding balances to ensure timely collections.
• Prepare aging reports and provide status updates to the finance department.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company credit policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in payroll and accounts receivable functions.
• Proficiency in accounting software and payroll systems (experience in the real estate/property management sector is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws and accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
