Parts Clerk

As a Parts Clerk, you will work directly with mechanics to identify, issue, and locate parts needed for repairs and maintenance. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels of refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical parts, as well as receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming parts and supplies. Your role will involve tracking parts usage, updating inventory records, ordering replacement parts, and communicating with vendors and suppliers regarding availability, pricing, and lead times.

Responsibilities

• Work with mechanics to identify and locate necessary parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels of various parts.
• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts and supplies.
• Track parts usage and update inventory records.
• Order replacement parts and maintain min/max inventory levels.
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding availability, pricing, and lead times.
• Keep the parts room organized, labeled, and clean.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Support shop productivity by ensuring parts are readily available.

• Previous experience as a Parts Clerk, Parts Counter, Inventory Clerk, or Warehouse Associate.
• Comfortable working in a maintenance or shop environment.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and ordering.
• Ability to read part numbers, work orders, and service documentation.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work closely with mechanics.
• Experience with Quantum ERP and EPC (electronic parts catalogue).

• Experience in automotive, diesel, refrigeration, or HVAC industries preferred.

Work Environment

The position offers an air-conditioned work environment with a consistent schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm. You may also be required to make deliveries using a work van.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Pompano Beach, FL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Pompano Beach,FL.
