Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
Fort Lauderdale or West Palm Beach, FL (Hybrid after 90 days)
$95K – $100K Base + Benefits

Position Overview
The Real Estate Paralegal will be responsible for managing residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing, while supporting attorneys with document preparation, due diligence, and transaction coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage 25–30 real estate files simultaneously from contract to closing
- Order and review title, lien searches, surveys, estoppels, and zoning reports
- Prepare closing disclosures and settlement statements
- Coordinate with lenders, buyers, sellers, and agents throughout the transaction
- Track and manage critical deadlines and timelines
- Resolve title, lien, and survey issues to ensure timely closings
- Coordinate funding, disbursements, and closing logistics
- Handle e-recording and title policy issuance
Legal & Transaction Support
- Draft and review:
- Purchase and sale agreements
- Deeds, affidavits, and closing documents
- Loan documents (notes, mortgages, assignments)
- Conduct due diligence:
- Title commitments
- Surveys and zoning reports
- Environmental reports
- Review and abstract leases
- Monitor contract terms and key deliverables
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in real estate law (law firm preferred)
- Experience managing high-volume real estate closings
- Strong knowledge of:
- Real estate transactions
- Title insurance and survey review
- HOA and condominium matters
- Experience with SoftPro or similar closing software preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple transactions with accuracy and efficiency
