We have an immediate opening for a full-time paralegal to support our Washington and Montana offices. We seek a dynamic individual who brings an attitude of success to their work, shares a passion for advocating for employees and who is looking for an engaging work environment. Responsibilities

  • Case Management
  • Draft and finalize pleadings
  • E-File in various courts in Montana, Washington, and occasionally Oregon
  • Download, organize and appropriately save incoming productions from defendants
  • Work with clients to gather responsive documents to discovery
  • Schedule and track case deadlines
  • Provide support to attorneys during trial preparation and trial
  • Assist with deposition preparation
  • Assist in updating and creating standard operating procedures
  • Proofread, format and finalize correspondence
  • Organize, label and track discovery productions from opposing counsel
  • Assist in administrative tasks as needed


Qualifications

  • Preferred 3+ year with civil litigation experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
  • Preferred familiarity with programs such as Monday, Clio, Eve Legal, various ediscovery platforms
  • Experience with Washington civil rules and procedures with a preference of experience Montana.
  • Ability to research and interpret local civil rules and procedure
  • Knowledge of Federal Civil Procedure
  • Preferred Experience in employment law


Lines of Communication

This position will work closely with our litigation teams in Washington, Oregon, and Montana and will report to Practice Group Manager, Taylor Yates and Managing Partner, Jason Rittereiser.


Benefits

  • Salary Range: $60,000-$80,000

Hours: Monday-Friday (except legal and firm holidays), 8:30-5:00 pm PT
