The Firm is seeking a highly experienced, detail-oriented Trial Paralegal to support our litigation team with trial, arbitration, and courtroom support. The ideal candidate will have 10 or more years of hands-on litigation experience and a proven track record assisting attorneys in high-level cases.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage complex case files
  • Organize and maintain pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and trial materials
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules, AAA rules, and scheduling orders
  • Draft and respond to discovery requests (interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission)
  • Coordinate document production, including e-discovery platforms and databases
  • Lead all aspects of trial preparation, including:
  • Pre-Trial, exhibits, witness materials, trial notebooks, electronic data
  • Coordination of trial logistics (war room setup, technology, vendors)
  • Prepare demonstratives and coordinate with experts and consultants
  • Support the trial team by managing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, and assisting attorneys at trial or arbitration hearings
  • Operate OnCue trial presentation software
  • Troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently in a trial/hearing environment
  • Serve as liaison between attorneys, clients, experts, court personnel, and vendors
  • Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, during trial
  • Occasional travel may be required for trials or depositions
  • Maintain a team-oriented environment with high performance standards


Qualifications:


  • Minimum 10+ years of litigation experience, with significant trial experience
  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced law firm environment
  • Knowledge of federal rules, state court rules, AAA rules and procedures
  • Experience in complex litigation (e.g., commercial, personal injury)
  • Experience with e-discovery platforms and document management systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and trial presentation software
  • Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, especially during trial
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
