Job Summary


We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Paralegal specializing in Personal Injury law to join our team. In this vital role, you will support attorneys by managing case files, conducting legal research, and preparing documentation to ensure smooth case progression. Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting legal documents and correspondence
  • Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw to support personal injury cases
  • Review and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurate and up-to-date in document management systems like Neos and Filevine
  • Interview clients, witnesses, and experts to gather relevant information for cases
  • Manage deadlines and coordinate court filings while maintaining meticulous records
  • Support litigation processes through document review, proofreading, transcription, and data entry
  • Provide administrative support such as scheduling appointments, managing phone etiquette, and organizing files

Experience

  • Prior paralegal experience - minimum of 3 years - in personal injury law or related fields such as family law or workers' compensation law
  • Familiarity with legal research tools including LexisNexis and Westlaw
  • Experience with legal case management software such as Neos and Filevine
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a law office setting
  • Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence
  • Knowledge of document review, proofreading, transcription, contracts, and filing procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to handle clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and administrative support with professionalism and attention to detail
