Overview

Our client is seeking a mid- to senior-level Paralegal to support a busy practice in trust administration and litigation. This Paralegal role is ideal for candidates with direct experience in one or more of these areas who are looking to deepen their expertise in a dynamic, client-focused environment. The Paralegal will play a key role in case management, trial preparation, and supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation.


Responsibilities

  • Manage case files from intake through resolution across civil litigation, personal injury, and trust and estate matters
  • Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and correspondence
  • Coordinate and manage discovery, including document review, production, and organizing case materials
  • Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit preparation, witness coordination, and trial binders
  • Handle calendaring of deadlines, court dates, and filings in compliance with court rules
  • File documents in state and federal courts, including e-filing
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel
  • Support attorneys with case strategy, timelines, and day-to-day case management
  • Maintain accurate and organized case records and documentation


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of paralegal experience, preferably within civil litigation, personal injury, or trust and estate litigation
  • Direct experience in at least one of the practice areas strongly encouraged
  • Strong knowledge of litigation processes, court procedures, and filing requirements
  • Experience with discovery, calendaring, and trial preparation
  • Proficient in legal software and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Paralegal certificate preferred but not required
