Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Panel Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the wiring and assembly of industrial control panels. This role requires expertise in reading and understanding electrical schematics, as well as experience with wiring transformers, drives, relays, and PLCs. The candidate should be comfortable working with both high (480V-AC) and low (24V-DC) circuits. There may be occasional requirements for overtime, weekends, or holidays based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and read electrical schematics.
• Wire and assemble industrial control panels.
• Utilize basic hand tools to assemble boxes and smart cells.
• Work in the panel shop to build and test custom panels.
• Install custom control panels in manufacturing plants.
• Maintain production numbers and ensure quality of work.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years’ experience in wiring and assembly of industrial control panels.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Experience with wiring transformers, drives, relays, and PLCs.
• Familiarity with high (480V-AC) and low (24V-DC) circuits.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in related fields.
• Basic understanding of electricity.
• Proficiency in using micrometers and other hand tools.

Work Environment

This position is based in a clean, temperature-controlled facility. The team consists of roughly 10 individuals working throughout the shop. Employees are expected to work independently and maintain production numbers. The work schedule is 1st shift, Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with potential overtime extending until 4:30 pm from Monday to Thursday.

This is a Contract position based out of Smyrna, TN.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Smyrna,TN.
