The Paint Technician on 2nd shift supports the finishing process by performing detailed paint preparation work, including masking, de-masking, sanding, and basic inspection of metal parts. This role focuses on learning and developing the skills needed to progress into a manufacturing painter position, working closely with experienced painters in an industrial environment that uses powder coat and liquid paint processes.

Work Environment
This role is based in a modern manufacturing facility that supports customers across a broad range of North American industries. You work around heavy equipment, machinery, and industrial paint systems, including spray guns, paint booths, and powder coating equipment, with associated noise levels typical of a production environment. The position is primarily performed standing for six or more hours per day, with some tasks completed while seated for short periods. You regularly handle metal parts and masking materials and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds using proper ergonomic techniques. The facility is well maintained with excellent lighting and clear, interactive instructions in each department to guide daily tasks and training. You work on a 2nd shift schedule in a production setting that emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and teamwork.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
