Outside Sales Representative – Heavy Duty Truck & Diesel Fleet Services

$105,000+ Base + Bonus | $10,000 Sign-On | High-Earning Territory Role



We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative with a strong background in heavy-duty truck dealership sales or commercial fleet service environments. This is a field-based, territory ownership role focused on driving revenue through truck repair services, parts programs, preventive maintenance, and fleet uptime solutions




This role is designed for an established industry sales professional who already has relationships in the commercial trucking space and is looking for a stronger earning opportunity, better support, and long-term growth potential.


Base Compensation: $105,000+ (plus performance-based bonus structure and additional earning incentives)

Total earning potential increases significantly with performance.

Ideal Candidate Background

We are looking for professionals with experience in heavy-duty truck OEM dealership environments or comparable commercial vehicle service organizations, such as:

Freightliner • Peterbilt • Kenworth • International • Volvo • Mack

Experience from large fleet service networks, diesel repair organizations, or commercial transportation support companies is also strongly considered.


Key Qualifications

  • Established relationships within fleet, municipal, construction, waste, logistics, or transportation industries
  • Strong understanding of heavy-duty truck maintenance, repair, and parts/service operations
  • Proven success in outside sales, territory growth, or account management
  • Ability to generate new business while maintaining and expanding existing accounts
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-driven with the ability to manage territory independently
  • Willingness to travel within assigned region


What You Will Do

  • Own and grow a defined sales territory
  • Build and maintain relationships with commercial fleet customers
  • Sell truck repair services, parts programs, and fleet maintenance solutions
  • Develop long-term service agreements and recurring revenue streams
  • Conduct regular in-person customer visits and account reviews
  • Identify new business opportunities through networking and referrals
  • Coordinate with internal service and parts teams to ensure customer success
  • Track activity, pipeline, and performance using CRM tools
