Our client is seeking two (2) sales hunters to develop new business and build existing business with current clients for either their packaging division or their food production equipment.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Identify and cultivate new opportunities to achieve sales and margin goals for all mold and packaging categories.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of sales opportunities to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and margin targets.
- Source prospective customers through research, direct outreach, and networking at trade shows and through social media.
- Analyze, vet, and profile prospective plastic mold and packaging customers for all mold categories and develop a custom, personal “approach” for each one.
- Gather information about prospective customers by asking questions and listening to understand the vision for their organization, their business strategies, high-level processes, and goals.
- Mentally match prospective customer needs to the solutions our client can provide for them.
WHAT IS NEEDED FOR THIS ROLE
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in manufacturing, food production equipment, packaging, or related B2B industries.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to understand technical product details and explain them clearly to customers.
- Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
Education and Experience
- Associate Degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent experience required
Physical Requirements:
- Travel required (Tuesday - Thursday) for customer visits, trade shows, and industry events.
- Combination of office (Monday & Friday) and field-based work.
- You will need to possess a valid, unrestricted driver's license, a current US or Canadian passport, and have the ability to travel unimpeded throughout the US and Canada.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
