Role: Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)
Location: Tallahassee, FL 100% onsite

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to support and maintain enterprise-level database environments supporting mission-critical systems. This role is responsible for database performance, availability, integration support, and overall data environment stability.
The ideal candidate brings strong Oracle expertise along with hands-on experience supporting data integration, ETL processes, and large-scale database environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle databases (10g, 11g, 12c, 19c) in production environments
- Perform database installations, configurations, upgrades, and patching
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues impacting availability and performance
- Tune SQL queries and PL/SQL code for optimal performance
- Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers
- Support logical and physical data models in collaboration with development teams
- Support ETL processes, data integration workflows, and data migrations
- Assist with database design efforts to ensure scalability and performance
- Implement and maintain high availability solutions (RAC, Data Guard, replication)
- Troubleshoot complex database and data infrastructure issues
- Support data security, privacy, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders throughout the SDLC
- Participate in technical discussions and support requirements gathering sessions
- Maintain documentation including database configurations and data dictionaries
Required Qualifications:
Oracle / Database Administration
- Hands-on experience with Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c (19c preferred)
- Experience working in UNIX/Linux environments
- Strong experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and high availability architectures
- Proven ability to diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex database issues
- Advanced-level experience with SQL and PL/SQL
- Experience tuning Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for performance optimization
- Demonstrable experience with data replication across database instances
Data Integration & Support
- 5+ years of ETL and data mapping experience
- Experience supporting data integration methodologies and middleware technologies
- Experience assisting with data migration efforts on large-scale implementations
- Experience working with web services and integrated systems
- Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM) tools
Data & Performance:
- Experience supporting logical and physical data models
- Experience with data caching patterns and data access methodologies
- Experience creating and maintaining data dictionaries
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle technologies (9i, 10g, 11g, RAC)
- Working knowledge of SQL Server technologies
Collaboration & Delivery:
- Experience working closely with development teams
- Strong facilitation skills and ability to support technical discussions
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Ability to work independently and resolve complex issues
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Informatica or similar ETL tools
- Experience working within a governmental agency environment
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture (EA) concepts
- Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a “can-do” attitude
