Position Summary

Transco Industries Inc. is seeking a Safety & Operations Administrator to support Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), compliance, and operational processes at its Portland, OR fabrication facility. This is a primarily office‑based role with occasional visits to fabrication and belt service sites. The position plays a key role in maintaining OSHA, environmental, and operational documentation while supporting HR, Operations, and Project teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support OSHA, Fire Marshal, and environmental compliance documentation
  • Manage stormwater, environmental, and EHS recordkeeping
  • Assist with health and safety program implementation, training coordination, and documentation
  • Support accident investigations, corrective actions, and safety reporting
  • Review and validate time entry for fabrication and field teams
  • Maintain equipment, maintenance, and company vehicle documentation
  • Provide administrative support to HR, Operations, and Project teams
  • Assist with project submittals, documentation, and compliance records as needed
  • Support a safe, organized, and compliant fabrication and service environment

 

Travel Requirement

  • Travel is required and may include extended stays at job sites in states where work is being performed
  • Travel will support field operations, fabrication facilities, and project locations as needed


Qualifications

  • Experience in Health & Safety, Occupational Health, or EHS compliance
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices in metal fabrication, industrial, construction, or manufacturing environments
  • Experience with safety training coordination and accident investigation processes
  • Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent hands‑on experience
  • Safety, OSHA, or environmental compliance certifications are a plus
  • Prior experience in metal fabrication, conveyor systems, industrial services, or heavy industry highly preferred
  • Ability to work on‑site in Portland, OR, with occasional site visits

 

Work Environment

Primarily office‑based in Portland, OR, with periodic visits to fabrication shops and conveyor service locations.
