Operations Manager

Primary Functions

Manage the manufacturing functions and assume ultimate responsibility for the plant operations to meet the goals & production objectives at the lowest cost consistent with customer and corporate requirements.

Duties and Overall Responsibilities

• Prioritize, schedule & delegate work.
• Supervise plant staff to meet the goals & production objectives at the lowest cost consistent with customer requirements.
• Manage production scheduling team to ensure on time delivery of customer products.
• Develop plans for utilization of machines and people.
• Review production reports.
• Ensure proper maintenance and adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Establish & maintain housekeeping standards.
• Establish & maintain safety standards and adherence to those standards.
• Work within Projects & Plans to recommend capital projects and ensure conformance to budgets.
• Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA & Environmental requirements.
• Enforce all Safety & Work rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
